Halfmoon Bay and the Sunshine Coast are facing many challenges; as I write this, the Chapman watershed is under incredible stress, having transitioned from drought to freezing conditions in a matter of weeks. Our water crisis highlights the need for long-term thinking and creative problem-solving. The climate is changing fast, and we need to come together to mitigate and adapt to its impacts, so we can leave a healthy and thriving Sunshine Coast to future generations.

I am looking forward to working with you to build a 21st century rural community that sets the gold standard: connected, resilient, forward-thinking, sustainable, welcoming, and proud.
